About krista guerin
Artist statement
As a painter I live my life exploring. My recent work has pushed my figurative realism into abstraction with color, water and reflections. My process includes photographing my subjects and drawing several preliminary sketches by hand before drawing it again onto my canvas. As a lifelong artist, I live to create. I am interested in snippets of time and moments of reflection. But most of all, what it means to be human.
